Tofarco is one of the most important construction and development companies in Cyprus. Tofarco was established in 1977 by Lakis Tofarides and its aim, was and is, to evolve in one of the most credible companies in construction industry. Except from the construction sector, Tofarco has created and a subsidiary company, “Forte Trading Ltd” for importing specialized building materials and also the Tofarco Property Investments Ltd for the management of the real estate, which belong to the Tofarco Group and to its customers. Apart from the companies inside the island, Tofarco Group was expanded outside of Cyprus with the creation of two big companies, one in Greece “Tofarco (Hellas) Construction – Technical – Real Estate Company and one in Romania Tofarco ( Romania) SRL for the management and exploitation of real estate there.

Tofarco Group is using of course social media as a way to contact with her clients and with everyone that is interested to her. Except from the local advertising that Tofarco uses in local social media, like television, newspaper, business magazines and so on for advertising purposes, is using also and other ways to reach their existing and future customers. The main purpose that is using these social media is not only the advertising, but also a way to inform its clients for the latest news around company and around the construction industry. Also Tofarco use social media for a more direct contact with customers, for answering questions, giving information and helping them to find the appropriate property that people may want to invest. Last but not least Tofarco group is using the social media as a way to inform its clients for some participation and achievements in construction competitions, to express its opinion, about the construction industry situations in Cyprus and of course to present its latest construction buildings.

Tofarco Group, first of all has her website (http://www.tofarco.com/ ), which is the official place that a client or anyone can get the latest and the most specific information that needs for this company. At the website someone can find the profile of her, the properties that company wants to advertise, the latest news around company and also the information about contacting with Tofarco Group.

Secondly, through this website someone can find the appropriate details to contact with company, via email, telephone fax and so on (http://www.tofarco.com/contact ). With these elements, Tofarco Group gives the opportunity to her clients to have a more direct communication with the company and also take and give more accurate and specific information about any subject.

Thirdly company is using Facebook, (http://www.facebook.com/Tofarco )  as a way to advertise her new buildings through photographs and also to express her opinion about any subject around construction industry, through articles that have been published in local newspapers and magazines. In Facebook have 486 persons-companies that have been said that they like Tofarco’s Group Facebook account and the most of them are persons that have a close link with the company or other companies that are interest in Tofarco Group or they have cooperation with her. Mostly Tofarco uses Facebook for uploading pictures with new buildings and also articles and interviews that many of her members are giving and writing. She has partially an active account in Facebook because as we can see at least once in a week something new is posted on her wall.

Last but not least Tofarco Group is using and Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/Tofarco )  as social media. Tofarco’s twitter account is partially new and not so active, because in her account has only 22 tweets and the first one was 25th of August. Obviously Tofarco Group is not using so much the twitter as a social media way to contact with her clients and the people who are interested to her. Also we can see that she has only 20 followers and 47 following, which the most of them (following) are companies that can be used as a way of advertising for the Tofarco Group. Also there are some companies and organizations that are related with tourism, showing that this company is not only interested for local clients but also and for clients for other countries. Mostly twitter is used by Tofarco for writing some achievements and latest news, but not so usually as Facebook.

As a company Tofargo Group is very good and also the social media that she uses are very good and very efficient I think. But I believe that she could use also YouTube as a way to advertise her new properties and buildings and of course to promote the company’s whole activities. Last but not least maybe she could use something like Google maps or something similar that could allows to her clients to have a specific location of the property and building that they are going to buy. With these the clients they will know better where their building is located and what there is around and also will be easier for the clients to take their decision.

Advertisements
