This week was full of good news. The first one comes from The Pro League of football, The Future and het Nieuwsblad which named the coach of KV Courtrai Vanhaezebrouck “coach of the year” in 2012.

The second good news is that Thomas Matton is going to be one of the new players in KV Courtrai.
Vanhaezebrouck is the coach of the year!
The Pro League of football, in partnership with The Future and het Nieuwsblad, announced the name of the trainer of the year. It is about the coach of the KV Courtrai Hein Vanhaezebrouck.
A referendum was organized with 403 players from the Jupiler League.
Vanhaezebrouck, collected 561 points. He overcome Anderlech, who was crowned with the prize in 2010.
Vanhaezebrouck, 48 years, had never win this prize. It’s the first time a coach of Courtrai to winning this title. Vanhaezebrouck thus succeeded Frank Vercauteren ( Genk) elected in 2011.

New player Thomas Matton
Thomas Matton will play for KV Courtrai from next season. The contract is for two years. The midfielder of zulte Waregem will be transferred in Courtrai after the negotiations between both clubs this Thursday.
Thomas Matton is a 26 year old Belgium midfielder, who played for 4 years in the first division of Belgium in Zulte Waregem FC.
Unfortunately we still don’t know the amount of the transfer.
